Congratulations Confirmation Class of 2021

Congratulations to Our 1st Communicants

Welcome

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Welcome to the Parish of St. Martin de Porres. Located in the county of St. Louis, Missouri, our parish is an active community of Catholics, who participate in religious and social activities throughout the year. Through several organizations under the parish administration such as ACTS, Men’s Club, Respect Life, Youth Group, Music Ministry, Athletic Association, Crafts Club, the parishioners share a spiritual fellowship through which they move closer to the Almighty God. Having completed fifty years of our ministry as a Parish, we at St. Martin de Porres look forward to Synergize, Energize and Evangelize. Take a look at the organizations and keep in touch with us through our bulletins and regular updates. Stay connected, God Bless.

Oct. 2020 Tony Melendez Concert

Nov. 12 2020. Progress on the floor of the church renovation.

  • The old floor.
  • Time to start sanding the old floor.
  • Between each pew had to be sanded by hand.
  • A lot of sanding.
  • The entrance to the church full of materials for the job.
  • Nov 12, 2020. A layer of black epoxy resin was applied as a first coat.
  • The whole floor had to be sanded to prepare for the next coat.
  • The final coat is not black, this is in preparation for the final color coat.
  • The final layer was applied. Needs to be sanded, clear coated and buffed.
  • Lots of dust was left behind.
  • The whole church was covered in dust and had to be cleaned from top to bottom by volunteers.
  • Everything that had been used for mass in the gym had to be moved back up to the church.
  • Awesome parishioners lent a hand.
  • Lots of stuff.
  • Volunteers who gave of their time to do all the moving of everything that had been brought down to the gym back to the church.
  • Back and forth to move everything.
  • Then came the heavy stuff to be moved back in.
  • The behind the scenes people who gave their time to help put the church back together.
  • Our beautiful church at Christmas.
